Please always contact your airline / tour operator first in order to coordinate the following procedures
On Arrival
The airline or tour operator must be advised in advance of the type of assistance the passenger will need. If the passenger does not have a wheelchair, the airport will provide one.
The airport ground handling personnel can assist passengers on board the aircraft upon request. Transportation will be provided for passengers to the arrival hall directly from the aircraft upon request.
Passengers requiring special assistance have priority going through passport control where a special cabin is provided for them.
A special lift to the baggage claim area is reserved for such passengers. Escorts assist these passengers to retrieve their baggage. After completion of all arrivals procedures, passengers are escorted to the welcome desks.
Before Departure
If the passenger does not have his/her own wheelchair, the tour operator will provide one. Passengers travelling individually are provided with wheelchairs at the information desk.
If needed, escorts are provided to take passengers to their aircraft. Special needs passengers are given priority at the check-in desk and go through a special cabin at passport control.
