Fraport TAV Antalya Airport received multiple awards at the prestigious FAB Conference, one of the aviation and hospitality industry's most respected international events, where it was also officially announced that Antalya Airport will host FAB 2027.FTA Exclusive Premium Lounge was named “Airport Lounge of the Year,” while Taste of Anatolia received the “Airport Food & Beverage Offer of the Year” award, and renowned chef Ömür Akkor was named “Airport Chef of the Year.”Thanks to the innovative food and beverage concepts developed by BFA over the past two years, Antalya Airport ranked among the world’s top five airports in airport hospitality and secured the number one position in Europe.Fraport TAV Antalya Airport returned with remarkable achievements from the Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) Conference & Awards, held in Bangalore, India, and recognized as one of the aviation and travelretail industry's most prestigious events. Antalya Airport received multiple awards in recognition of its significant investments in passenger experience, gastronomy, and premium services.Highlighting the extensive investments made as part of the Antalya Airport Expansion Project, FTA Exclusive Premium Lounge was honored with the “Airport Lounge of the Year” award. BFA, which operates the food and beverage services at Antalya Airport, emerged as one of the evening’s standout brands, winning a total of nine awards across various categories.Taste of Anatolia, a concept that introduces Antalya Airport’s local culture and the rich culinary heritage of Anatolia to international travelers, won the “Airport Food & Beverage Offer of the Year” award both globally and within the European region. The concept also received awards for its outstanding interior design and authentic representation of local identity. The creator of Taste of Anatolia, Chef Ömür Akkor, was named “Airport Chef of the Year.” In addition, Sherefe Restaurant received awards in the innovation and airport bar concept categories, while Needstop was recognized as Europe’s best concept in the quick-service category.
