Silent Witnesses of the Mediterranean on Display at the Terminal.

Silent Witnesses of the Mediterranean on Display at the Terminal.

Fraport TAV Antalya Airport is hosting a photography exhibition themed “Endangered Species in the Mediterranean” featuring works by underwater photographer and documentary filmmaker Tahsin Ceylan.

The exhibition, which can be visited at the Domestic Terminal between 28 July and 10 August 2025, covers many sensitive species, from the life cycles of sea turtles such as Caretta Caretta and Chelonia mydas to Mediterranean endemic seagrasses. Thirty large-format photographs taken along the coasts of Kaş and Belek in Antalya showcase the underwater world shaped by climate change and human impacts through striking imagery. The exhibition aims to raise awareness about the conservation of Mediterranean biodiversity.

As Fraport TAV Antalya Airport, we host numerous exhibitions throughout the year in our terminal areas, supporting culture and art by providing artists with spaces to display their works. We aim to offer our passengers not just an airport experience, but also an inspiring atmosphere. Known as the storyteller of the underwater world, Tahsin Ceylan has held 37 solo exhibitions to date and has been awarded numerous national and international prizes. His work makes significant contributions to environmental awareness and sustainability. The exhibition will be open to passengers and visitors until 10 August 2025.
